How It All Began (Based On a True Story)

One day while visiting a friend who had just purchased some New Plush Dolls for their daughter. Decided to go to the back room and say hello to the girls. The girls where playing on the floor with their NEW plush animal. Standing in the door way about to say hello, notice a little girl using her hands to discover which doll she wanted, as there were still some on the bad. When she picked out a Old Worn Out, One Eyed Koala Bear and began to use her hands to feel it. I discoved she was BLIND.

The little girl placed the doll to her face in a loving and motherly fashion and smiled. She announced to the other girls who were still playing on the floor. "I WAN'T THIS ONE"!!!  It was clear to me, she fell in love with the One Eye mostlikely because the doll and one eye and was Visually Impaired like herself. The girls laughed at her, with one saying; " Why you want that old, One Eye Ugly Thing? The blind girl was immediately offended and hurt replying, "I don't think it's UGLY, and Old dolls need love as much as your new Ones.

The girls realised they had made a mistake, and offended the blind girl. They all got off the floor, apologized, hugged both the blind girl and One Eyed Koala Bear and began to play together. Amazed and Touched by what I just observed, I went to the Mother, reliving the situation and communicating my observation. The Mother told me, that the little girl was blind, her name was Trixie, and she was here for her Birthday from Kenya. Already creating Greeting Cards, I had decided I would create a Card of this sweet little girl named Trixie.

I desiged this Childlike Featured Koala Cartoon Image. Placed a Big Black Fury Nose on it. (Koalas are known for the big)  noses), Brought some fake eyelashes from the story. Placed some Rhynstones over the image, so Trixie could use her Sensory Touch to discover the image. Had the words Happy Birthday with BRAILLE and a few days later presented. OF COURSE I NAMED THE CHARACTER "TRIXIE KOALA".

SHE LOVED IT!!!! I then designed a few more Koala Childlike Features Koala Cards. Called them THE KUBEBA KOALA GREETING CARD LINE, and sold them to Blind and Sighted Kids on line. Trixie being from Kenya (Africa), the language being spoke primarily is SWAHILII. The word pronounce (Ku- Bee- Ba) means "Bear" in the Swahilii Language. And this is how The Kubeba Koala Brand was Founded.

Deadicated to a little Blind girl who taught me and others THROUGH LOVE SHE SEE, which became our Trixie Card Slogan
